Purpose

The Omega 365 Environmental Policy outlines how to improve environmental performance in our operations and delivery of products and services.

Objective

We promote social responsibility and believe that responsible and ethical behaviour is a prerequisite for sustainable business. We want to serve our current stake holders in a sustainable way that does not compromise the needs of future generations.  

Scope

The defined scope of this policy takes into account internal and external issues. It also reflect the needs of our stakeholders and legal/regulatory requirements applicable to our companies. 

We are committed to: 

• Providing software and services to our clients that improves efficiency and reduces the use of materials, energy and supplies, thereby reducing pollution, emissions and waste; in project execution, technical operation and maintenance of assets.  
• Providing global and local presence: Establish office and operations close to clients to minimize travel. 
• Reducing the environmental impact of our internal operations by: 
  • Travelling for business purpose only when necessary, Teams is often a good alternative 
  • Keeping workflows paperless and print paper only when strictly necessary 
  • Recycling waste, paper, packaging materials, electronic equipment 
  • Efficient use of energy (heating and cooling) 
  • Use of biodegradable chemicals in cleaning  
  • Minimising use of solvents and avoiding lead-based paints in our office buildings 
  • Campaigning and motivating staff for walking or cycling to work 
  • Providing charging facilities for electrical cars at office locations 
• Compliance with environmental legislations and codes of practice 
• Communicating environmental aims and objectives to employees and external stakeholders 
• Supporting local charities and events and be a positive force in the local community 
• Encouraging suppliers to adopt environmental policies 
• Setting targets and objectives, within the scope of the environmental management system, to achieve continual improvement and a sustainable development. 

The General Manager of each Omega 365 company is responsible for implementing and enforcing this policy. 

KPIs for environmental measures and objectives are monitored through our Follow-up items.
